HSH 029: The Mindsets Required for a Multi-Six Figure Shift

In this episode, I discuss the mindset I have now, how it’s evolved and what shifts I’ve had to make in order to scale my business to the point it’s at now!

Your mindset has had to constantly shift and evolve with you as you’re going to continue to face new resistance and limiting beliefs that each level.

5 major mindset shifts I’ve had:

1) What got you here, won’t get you there

You have to start thinking, feeling and acting like what you want to become. Previously, I invested in membership software, for what seemed like a huge amount of money at the time, to get to the next level.

At some point, we have to realize that we need to step a little bit ahead of where we are and take calculated risks. Doing this made my business more professional, more approachable and ultimately, more branded.

2) Learn how to sit with fear and make the hard decisions

You can’t escape fear, and it’s a liberating feeling knowing that no matter what, you’re going to face resistance in your life. You hold the key to determining how this affects your behavior.

I’ve started being ok with moments of almost paralyzing fear, or being unsure of what is going to happen next. With my most recent launch, I was able to reframe the fear into total excitement, as when fear shows up it means that we’re going to the next level.

3) Start to see when mental blocks happen

After suffering from anxiety, I started tuning into reality and separating what is negative self-talk and what is real. Think of the worst-case scenario and if what you’re doing doesn’t work, it’s not the end of the world and you know you can always switch to another strategy.

Get some “biz besties” that you can talk to, as they can help rationalize the fear.

4) Let go of things in order to scale up

You can outsource not only the things that you don’t like, but as well as the things that you do enjoy doing. I did this for Facebook ads, but hiring a manager to run my campaigns for the launch.

Outsourcing is a fine art, but remember that you’re bringing in people to help you put out the fires. This way you can manage, and focus on the big picture things that matter in your business.

5) Create the space to learn and create

At our very core we are creators, but we’ve convinced ourselves that the best way to create is to learn. Learning is important, but realize that knowledge is not power, but potential power.
